Our Taste of Spring grows in the private tea garden that locates in rural area near to Hangzhou.
There the tea plants are meticulously taken care of by locals under the traditional and organic management.
Tea leaves are picked before Pure Brightness (清明） [beginning of the 5th of the 24 solar terms], which is considered as the best time to get the finest and freshest buds and leaves from the tea plants to make green tea.
Green tea that is picked and made before Pure Brightness is highly appreciated in China. The price is nearly three times more expensive than the green tea made in other times.
Most of green tea in the market nowadays made by machines because it can be produced fast and massively. But we insist to make our Taste of Spring in traditional methods, completely hand made with the same instrument as people used in ancient time.
The purpose of these effort is to bring real and authentic taste back. When you have tried our Taste of Spring, you will know our effort is worth it.
We only pick the best whole tea leaves, broken tea leaves and fragment do not meet our criterion.
We highly recommend you to enjoy this delicate tea in cold brew.
In our experience with Taste of Spring, after 1 hour in 1L cold water at room temperature, it provides a gentle sweet taste with light fresh bean fragrance.
For hot brew: 80℃ 200-300ml water, drink after 30 seconds. For best taste, only refill 2 times.
